Videography &

video editing

I was responsible for all aspects of the following videos, including filming, editing, graphic design, thumbnail design, & video titling.

From April 2024 to October 2025, I worked as Sanborn Construction Group’s, Director of Media & Marketing. Through my video creation, YouTube knowledge & social media strategy, the accounts & brand were organically grown from 0 to over 160,000,000 total views & more than 235,000 total followers across all platforms. This video is currently the highest viewed long-form video on the Sanborn YouTube channel. Sitting at just under a million views (at the time of typing this.) As soon as we stepped into the first unit of this building I knew what the title would be.

A mini-documentary on BLXNY, a Metro-Detroit audio engineer & artist. This piece portrays his discovery of his passion for music, what his life looks like currently, as well as his goals for the future.

A fan-made Mentos advertisement, inspired by the companies classic commercial format. From beginning to end, I had a lot of fun creating this one. I think it shows in the final result.

Every once in a while, when we’d be out filming an estimate, we’d come across something crazy. From dealing with squatters to finding weapons in houses, we saw some wild things. Using music & arranging clips in ways that keep the audience on the edge of their seats was always a fun challenge.

Majority of the videos I created while working with Sanborn were on-site of estimates & jobsites. The challenge was usually turning those moments into compelling, digestible pieces of content. However, this video was different. This was a video concept I had actually come up with years before and seeing as their brand is very Detroit based, I figured it would fit great on their channel. Currently, it sits as the YouTube's second highest viewed video about Detroit’s 8 Mile Road.

A short film my girlfriend and I created for a 90-second film contest. We were given only the prompt, “hometown.” I think this film speaks for itself.

There was a good portion of time back in 2020-2021 where I was consistently vlogging. This episode, specifically, always held a special place in my heart. I think that’s because of the limiting circumstance I was in, and how it challenged me to use my imagination and creativity in new ways. The title explains itself.

This was another video that skewed from our usual content style. When Sanborn decided they wanted to switch offices a month before their lease was up, it was time to start searching. I created this video to bring the audience along on that journey. This video really helped to deepen our relationship with the audience.

A promotional video for the Birmingham Youth Assistance 41st Annual Dog Show. I created this during my time working at Bloomfield Community Television. Filming at & editing for events like this was always fun.

Upon release, this video was actually underperforming. After giving it a 24 hours and the view count still remaining lower than usual, I decided to switch the title. Almost immediately the views spiked and didn’t slow down. It grew to become the second highest viewed long-form video on the channel, with more than 750k views (at the time of typing this.) This is an older video, from early in the Sanborn social media journey, so I personally feel that editing-wise, it’s not nearly as refined as a lot of the later videos are. However, because of the title change’s drastic effect, I’m choosing to include it on here.

At Bloomfield Community Television we also created content for the cities various departments, filmed resident-hosted shows in our studio, and filmed events such as musical concerts & sports games for the surrounding cities. This video is an episode of our Community Policing Podcast with Chief James Gallagher.

I look back on this video fondly because in reality, nothing wild or out of the ordinary was going on this day. In fact, this is the type of footage we’d typically store away instead of turning into a weekly long-form. However, we needed an upload for the week & the Sanborn team wasn’t gonna have a free day to film. That left me with the challenge of turning this rather typical day, into a captivating video for our audience. I took some inspiration from early 2010’s cable television for this edit (bleeping cuss words, tension-rising intro, & the music style throughout).

Below is a handful of short-form content I’ve created.
